There are four our major eateries are found in Shannon Airport, strategically located throughout the terminal so that everyone has access to food and drink. Shannon Airport actually has a streak of gourmet heritage thanks to Joe Sheridan, a former airport chef. His famous cocktail is an attraction of its own for those passing through the airport today.


The Atlantic Café

This establishment is located to the right of the arrivals gate. It serves freshly ground coffee, soft drinks, alcohol, hot foods and a selection of sandwiches and pastries. This landside café is the perfect place for those waiting to pick up passengers to pass the time.


The Zest Food Market

Monday to Sunday, 05:30 to 21.00

The Zest Food Market is located in the Departures Lounge, adjacent to the Sheridan Bar.  The Zest team have an in-house bakery team of chefs and bakers to produce their fresh artisan breads, pastries and desserts for you daily.

In the 1940s, Shannon Airport chef, Joe Sheridan, invented the Irish coffee. Today, you’ll find this popular cocktail all over the world, but few are made according to Sheridan’s original recipe. Open only to departing passengers, the pub also serves hot food and snacks.


Gate 8  Café

Monday to Sunday, 07:30 to 12:30

The Gate 8 Café is located in the post-CBP area and caters for our US bound passengers.  This café is operated by the people that brought Zest Food Market to Shannon Airport., and it serves sandwiches, baked items and hot and cold beverages.
