Originally built as the home of Sir Augustine Fitzgerald in the mid eighteenth century, this comfortable house has been transformed in keeping with today’s superior standards, while preserving its unique character, style and ambience. The house is surrounded by a six hectare (15 acre) estate, with commanding views overLahinchBay. The estate is further enhanced by mature woodland and the meandering River Moy.

The sensitive restoration of this early 19th Century estate recreates a contemporary and eclectic ambience for today’s traveller in search of a tranquil respite with natural and warm hospitality.

Located 1 kilometre from the town of Lahincha mere ten minute drive from the Cliffs of Moher and along the Burren Region. Moy House is a hidden gem. Each of the nine oversized individual bedrooms are individually crafted with a mixture of classic and contemporary functionalism. The signature statement for the House are the guest bedrooms, a number of which have free standing original cast iron baths. The new Signature Suite is a must for that extra indulgence of luxury.

The residential ambience is complemented by a number of private spaces dispersed throughout the house; from the traditional Drawing room to the Zen-feel of the Lower library area offer internet access.

From the aroma of dinner bread baking on arrival to the kitchen being open and welcoming for all guests during their stay Moy certainly reflects being a true “home from home”. Dinner is an intimate affair in our conservatory restaurant being unobtrusive yet efficient service. Freshly picked herbs from the garden and locally produced produce all invigorate what is a gourmet dining experience to remember, and breakfast in the morning ensures guests to vow to return!
